I am not the son of the soil. However, by principles and by tradion I am an American and our action, thoughts are centered at Good Deeds, Good Thoughts, and Good relations between us and with other nations. I am prepared to sacrifice my life to keep the democracy sustain and to keep the American flag flying. I will toil to make America the best place to live in. I will produce the best and expect the best-that is the declaration every American makes to his nation.

It is true that Americans are not the son of the soil. They are white settlers. They value one. Independence. 2. Their tradion. 3. Their Flag. 4. Their rights as per their constitution. 5. Their emblem.

C.Family: Marriages, Annual Events. Family rituals, Lighting candles, Children, Yellow ribbon, Values.

D.Social: Holidays, Skill in Arts, skill in Lab our, leadership, Technology, Competition, Lifestyle, Citizen’s rights.

Those who come here to work seeing the facilities and earnings, never want to go back to their native places. They stay to get the green cards. They marry here itself not because of the salary but they can choose the way of life for them. Towards this, both the Government and the Public come to their help.

I know one boy studying M.Sc at Trichy. He used to say-I hate America. What is their specialty? Every thing is here and nothing we need from them. Even if I get a chance to go America, I will not go- he used to say.

I met this boy in America. I did not say a word so also he.

I was thinking why this happen in every case. Is it because of the freedom they get from the Society and the Government? Alternatively, because of the environment and the life style?

Many people from many nations have settled down here-Asians, Mexicans, Japanese, Chinese. The common bond between them is the individual freedom, common language-English, strict discipline, corrupt free government, Efficient functioning of judiciary etc.

Education: Top priority is given for education. I can choose the line that I want and to prepare myself from the school stage itself and the facilities are available , opportunities both in the schools, colleges and research institutions, earning while studying and to achieve the highest standard in the field and in the life.

One Family: Irrespective of caste, nationality or gender all are equal here. This the unique cord that bind them all. Husband and wife –both are equal, welcome differences and each can choose their own interests-Father-son, Father-daughter, husband-wife-subtly tied by freedom.

Culture: The first thing you see when you visit a home in America is-Be at home. You can treat this as your own house. Here you are having full freedom. You can take anything from Fridge. You want to exchange ideas-welcome or do you want privacy-retire in the room. If you need any help, you can call me at anytime.
Even if you are a stranger-you will receive-Hallow! Welcome- with respects.

Privacy: Every American wants privacy and values it most. He welcomes it and respects the privacy of others. They stop with hellow! In addition, the next action depends upon the other. This attitude has come to them from tradition.

When their ancestors came here to settle down no one came forward to help them. They toiled and built this nation. Therefore, they value hard work. They know that they can achieve success by this and entered new paths in Science, industry, Education etc. They achieved remarkable success.
