JAYA- INTERESTING BABY SITTER
JAYA- INTERESTING BABY SITTER
(Recently when I had been to the States I had many interesting experiences. Some of them will be very useful to our conditions. I went to my relative house. There I met my relative who is a housewife cum Baby Sitter. She earns substantial amount to pay the house rent)
Our relative invited us for a Dinner. We asked why dinner? She gave the reason that in daytime she is going to a Doctor friend house to look after their 2-year old daughter. Both husband and wife are doctors working in different places and hence the necessity for a reliable lady. Since Jaya is their Client – they preferred her. The work starts at 8.0 AM and ends at 5.0PM.
It all happened to Jaya by chance. She went to States as housewife only. In India she
studied up to SSLC only. For first 2-years she remained in the house only. When she had heavy fever she went to this Doctor. This Doctor couple came from Andhra. This contact grew further and they became family friends. Jaya’s husband used to officiate as Priest and conduct Satya Narayana Pooja and other functions in their house.
In the meantime Doctor Couple had a daughter. When the daughter attained the age of
two- Wife of the Doctor- who is also a Doctor wanted to go for work. She asked Jaya
whether she could look after their daughter. The child also very much attached to Jaya and her husband. Jaya agreed- thus started the career of Baby Sitting for Jaya.
Morning she cook and keep ready breakfast and meals for her husband and her husband
leave her at Doctor house. Evening he will pick her. There was not much difficulty in her job since the girl is intelligent and attached towards them. The Doctor paid her 1000 dollars per month.
A similar case I heard in Madras. Sundari was working in a private company before her
marriage. After marriage she stopped going for work. Her husband is an executive in a
private company. He has to leave at 7.0 AM and will return only late in the evening. They have only one child. Sundari studied BA. In course of time they purchased a house near vandalur. During a social meeting they met their neighbor- they are Doctors (Husband and wife) They have one boy-2 year old. They approached Sundari whether she can look after their child. They will drop the child with meals and can pickup him in the evening.
Since Sundari also is having similar child of the same age group, she accepted. Soon
other neighbors came to Sundari and what started in small way grew in to regular Baby
Sitting Center. She was paid decently by her clients. Successful MenMany such centers are there in metropolitan cities. What required is physical work, good
and kind approach to the children under there care. Education is only secondary.
Opportunity knocks at the door of housewives living in remote areas in the city and they can earn while remaining in their house.
Latchu was a brilliant boy-stood first in School final, rank in plus 2 and was to join in MBBS course. Unfortunately he was given paid seat only. He had to pay nearly 2-lakhs per annum for fees and other expenses, which his family could not afford. By chance he saw an advertisement in paper for a caretaker for handicapped boy. Latchu met the Parents of the handicapped boy. The boy was completely paralyzed below the hip. He should be lifted and placed in wheel chair or for toilet. The boy is a grown up one-aged 18-years. His father is a Director of a Paper Mill and earning very well. They agreed that Latchu will lookafter the boy after attending the medical college. In addition to that he agreed to coach the boy for taking degree in native medicine.
In return the boy’s father agreed to meet his entire fees and also when he is in the house his boarding expense. This arrangement worked for the benefit of both of them. Both completed the degree, later Latchu took his MS and is well settled. He never forgot the timely help rendered by the boy’s parents and the boy also became a Doctor in Auyurveda and is able to stand on his own.
Analysis:
The three examples are from different walks of life. Even if you are not having money still you can come up in life provided you look insight. In all the above cases the capital invested is hard physical work which every one is having. Some use them and are rewarded.
· Capital invested is hard physical work.
· Timely thinking and acting upon it.
· Providence’s help.
